Squeaky Clutch

Everytime I push the clutch pedal it squeaks/creaks! So annoying :ffs: ... hopefully there will be a really easy solution (apart from turning stereo up :D )

Please help ??? I know very little about cars.

mine does the same. i was told that it needed a bit of oil. this fixed it for a bit but it came back.

i had the same problem... first they put some oil but the sound came back... so they changed a part of the clutch(something like upper clutch center) ... normally it costs about 40-50 pounds or so but as i still have the warranty i didnt pay anything... you should go to service and tell them to check the parts of the clutch...

spray some lithium grease around the top hinge of the pedal

and where the cable (if cable) joiuns to the clutch/gearbox housing.

lithium grease is a spray on grease.. can buy it at Halfords.. and is the best.. also spray your door hinges too... will do them some good

dont bother with wd40.. only lasts a few weeks
