Bought A Supra Today. Woo Hoo!

:D Went to have a look at a Supra today and went home leaving a Deposit on it.

94 MK4 UK Car, full service history and the car is stunning. I have Rash to thank for suggesting it to me. The car is worth every penny of the £7600 we agreed on, for a UK car this is a very good price. I would say that you would only be able to get an import for this kinda money!

Anyway yeah as i was saying its a 94, UK Car, Twin Turbo 326bhp, Fully History, Red, Totally standard except for an aftermarket stereo system and a boost guage (blitz). 98k on the clock, cream leather interior.

Its amazing that i only just sold the Lexus on Saturday and within 24hrs i have already bought another car

Im celebrating now, off down the pub soon to party! (Although i have already had about 6 cans of Strongbow  )

Rock on! I shall be seeing you all at Santa Pod!

Bought the Lexus for £4800 and sold it for £4500. Owned it for 3 months and put about 4k on the clock. So i dont think i lost much at all out of it. The problem with the car was the sheer size of the thing, and the fact that it just wasnt any fun. Otherwise the LS400 i would recommend to anyone, i guarantee that you will not find a better car for the same amount of money!

End of the day performance and style mean more to me than Prestige and class. Maybe if i had bought the Lexus a few years from now i would have felt more at home with it but now at the tender age of 22 the Supra is more up my street.

98k??

break down soon!

Not this engine, it was as sound as a pound. No smoke at all and smooth as a whistle.

You gotta remember its a Toyota. This engine is gonna see 200k no problem

BTW Thanks Giddlepin, i'll see you there!

i know what you mean mate.. I was suprised you wanted one in the first place mate... I agree on the supra being a load more fun.. I had loads of fun in my soarer... which was very respectable motor and hanged in with the supras as tested.

I personally couldnt find the perfect LS400 III .. perhaps it was never meant to be... happy with what i have now.. just need NOS for that extra boost if neeeded

Have fun with that supra mate... I wouldnt mind test driving one myself.

Yep. Every single one. But the problem is they only sold about 600 UK cars in total so getting a UK car is like trying to find a £6 note.

God knows how many UK cars are actually on the road still (im sure a lot are in that big scrap yard in the sky), and also because the UK cars are more powerful then the J-spec ones and cheaper on insurance it makes it even more difficult to get one.

Thanks Steve, i know what you mean. There are a lot of crappy LS400's around and it took me ages to find the one i had (even though it still seemed not quite legit to me).

Glad your happy with the GS300. Personally if i was gonna get another Lexus i'd have the GS. Its a lot more fun than the LS and look a hundred years more modern.

If you go for NOS let me know how it works out cuz im always looking for something new myself

Yeah Jap Supra is 280bhp (although a few say its as high as 300bhp) and the UK cars are 326bhp standard.

Fluffy dice

Thanks guys, first thing is to get the Toyota Body kit onto it which was an option for the J-Spec Supra. Nice side skirts and spats.

Then after that i dont know. I want to keep the car as standard as possible but get top performance. So probably Stage 3 Turbo upgrade ( insurance comapny will never know) and upgraded stereo system.

Any suggestions :(
