Front Seats

After being a little annoyed by the high driving position of the standard IQ seats and the height adjustment not going low enough for me I decided to swap the seats.

I have opted for the MR2 roadster seats. I picked up a pair of cheap seats off eBay and I am rally happy with the new driving position. I may get some black seats or leather ones if I see some but for now it's a pleasant change.

They really look good. Did you have to modify them to fit?

Thanks. It's just the seat runners that need to be modified. It's not a big job, but really worth it.

Do the iQ seats have airbags in them, Do the new ones?

Look good. :)

The iQ's passenger seat has an airbag fitted in the squab, near to where the passenger's knees would rest. I think it's the same on all models/years.

Your new seats look really cool. Well done!

Chris
