Hi,

I just change the clutch on an 02 corolla. There is a clunking sound coming out from what seems to be the inner joint of the driver side axle, where the axle was taken apart (not at the differential as in other procedures).

Any suggestions to fix the problem will be appreciated. The axle is after market and the nut was very difficult to remove.

When does the Clunk occur ? speed, steering direction, onload / overrun ?

Could you have damage the CV joints / covers when removing the driveshafts ? they do need a bit of a "tap" to get them out from both the hub and partic the transaxle.

Everything assembled correctly on the hub / brake assembly ?
