Its also a car which isn't being produced new and is about to be replaced, I can't say I'm overly surprised.

also that list doesn't cover hybrids like the regular Prius & Auris.

Then again, Germany will always favour their own manufacturers.

Like Messersmitt, Heinkel, Focke-Wulf etc. Although we did receive an RFQ for a power plant for the V1, the British UYJ (UpYuresJerry) but it was little more than a modified Tilley lamp which burnt paraffin but it needed the cotton wool starter tongs dipped in methylated spirits to get it going. They reckoned, quite rightly, that it would never perform at altitude.
