Rav4 T180 Towbar Wiring Problem

Hope somebody can point me in the right direction here.

I have bought and fitted a wiring kit dedicated westfalia kit.

When I connect the trailer (which I know is working OK) get strange things happen.

When the indicators are put on the car thinks the lights are on so the dash dims everytime indicators pulse. The left side brake lights, running lights and fog don't work at all. Yet brake, lights and fog come on on the right when I press the brake or turn the lights on.

When disconnected the car lights all work as normal.

I have checked all the connections and inspected all the pins in the sockets male and female. Inspected the wire where I can.

Any thoughts. Help much appreciated.

Is there a specific kit for the t180.

I am calling the place I bought it off tomorrow to see what they say.

Question? do all MK3 ravs have LED rear lights? could this be my problem?
