Hi all, my heater started to blow intermittently then packed
up altogether.

It still blows hot and cold when you adjust the settings but
the blower /fan isn’t working at all and i can hear the 'clicking' noise coming from under the dash when i adjust the heater settings

Any ideas guys cheers

John

Cold air form blowers usually means issue with the cooling. Likely a leak somewhere. Check the rad for wet spots. You should notice the temp gauge going right up if this is the issue.

I am not familiar with your car but, I think the motor or resistor is faulty. If the fan only works at max, then it is the resister. Get an auto electrician to check the wiring.

The temperature only controls the flaps in the ducts to direct hot air from the heater matrix or cold air from outside or air-con if fitted. The ram-air effect means you will get required temperature, except when the car is stationary or the system set to recirculating.
