Can anyone tell me how to change the language on the dash

and pardon me for hijackin yer post but I've got a camera from Hong Kong that somebody gave me, can anybody explain to me just how it works?

Your Avensis would originally have been built at the Burnaston factory and exported to Japan.

Try doing an internet search for the Japanese words for 'settings' and 'language'. Scroll through the dashboard menu for a word that seems similar to that for settings, and if found, select. Do the same for language, and, if found, select. Hopefully that may get you to a stage where you can make changes.

Every thing the same as European spec just the engine size was for Japan only

the 2.4 was also sold in the T25 in the UK (although dropped here by 2008) & no doubt elsewhere in Europe.
