My Car Key Black Fob Part Lost

Dear All,


My name is Miracle Sorry ( i am still learning for the driving lessons so i don't know nothing about the car )


i need help for my car TOYOTA YARIS 2000 model , I lost my car key ( black parts i think its called immobilizer ) I don't know what that is .


What happened is i cannot start my engine yesterday and alarm keep coming on .


I have my car key but the problem is i lost the other bits ( black bits area ) someone said to me i need to get this program done to restart my engine..


My local dealer asked me for 200 pounds to re program and new key fob.. its really too much money for me.


If you guys know how to do it please suggest me .


.. if my explanation is confusing for you please let me know.

Haw haw haw, that yin's a cracker. And I'm locked out my house with the security alarm set and it's linked to the local police station. Can anybody please help me. :blow::blow::blow:

if you need a new transponder, you need a new transponder. A specialist car locksmith may be able to help a bit cheaper as it's an old car but no getting away from the fact that you need new parts.

I see .. is there any other way that I can start my engine ? So I have to spend over 200 pound for that .. my car is old one .. its not really worth it

As I said, a specialist auto locksmith may be able to do it cheaper but the whole point of the immobiliser system is to make it hard to steal the car (it's relatively easy to defeat a mechanical key system).
