Erg Blanking

Hi,everyone.I have 2006 2,2 d-cat in this moment I do not have any problems with engine after exhaust differential sensor pipe cleaning and erg valve totaly cleaning I read in this forum about erg valve blanking.Till the end I dont understood how blanking it directly ,from which side.And how about electrical side,does the need remaping ecu? Does this action helps me lower diesel consumption.Or this isnt nescessary if engine works good?Alls plus and minus please.Thanks

Won't work on my 07 t180 d-cat, the ECU can tell when its not working and throws the light up on the dash. Just have to keep taking the egr out and cleaning.
