Avensis Colours

Can anyone point me to a website that lists the colours the Avensis was available in please? I'm looking at a 2006 model at the moment that's described as being silver but it looks more like green to me - albeit a silvery-green.

Thanks for all your help so far guys, it's been invaluable. I've already crossed some cars from my list that you've steered me away from. Hopefully I now stand more chance of buying a good reliable model.

Thanks! That's the colour. I now have to decide whether it's classed as green or silver - you know what they say about green cars.

I like it (but then I have had both silver & a really green car before so maybe I am not impartial ;) )

Always shied away from green cars, after my one brother-in-law had a green Hillman Avenger for several years from new. Most unlucky car - one incident was one evening when it was parked outside their house, the engine of a passing bus exploded, sending shrapnel through the side of the car and into the boot.

I think darker colours look better for the avensis.

I have a silver fern luckily its a spare car that does not get used.

I have a black one and blue one, facelift had a darker shade of blue

The silver fern Avensis looks really good but I'm just wary of the colour. I know it's ridiculous but the seed of doubt regarding green cars has been planted in my mind and I can't shake the thought. I once owned a green Citroen that broke down and had to be scrapped and a family member had a green Rover that didn't need a mechanic it needed a priest. I've never known anything breakdown as much as that thing. Having said all that, I had a Lancia that had more breakdowns than Paul Gascoigne and that was silver. I know it's the car - Citroen, Rover and Lancia are hardly renown for their reliability, are they? And yet the green gremlin still haunts me.

I've also seen a red Avensis estate but no matter how good it might be, I just don't want a red one (no offence meant to anyone with a red Avensis). I'm sure some people will love them in red but it's just too much for me. Call me weird but I actually like the Avensis in that metallic bronze colour or is it gold?
