Tyre Recommendation?

Hi folks.

I'm planning on replacing all 4 tyres and would appreciate any recommendations on which ones to get.

Only interested in quality tyres and am currently trying to choose between the following:

Goodyear Effecient Grip Performance

Dunlop Sport Blue Response

Pirelli P7 Cinturato

Continental Contact Sport 2

Yokohama BluEarth-A AE50

Any recommendations appreciated!

Thanks

I'm not sure threads like this achieve a great deal, with must people saying my ***** tyres are great, without explaining why.

So, I'm just going to suggest you have a look at the reviews for the Kumho LE Sport, not as well known a brand as those you've listed above, but very keenly priced :)

As above....don't necessarily discount the likes of Kumho/Hankook.

I had Hankook prior to recently putting 4 hew Kuhmo's on my Celica....I've found both to be just fine and with more than enough "performance/grip" than I could ever want.

I won't use cheap "ditchfinder" budget tyres...but I have no need to buy the mega premium ones either.

IIRC my 4 x Kuhmo's cost about £270 fitted through Blackcircles.

Jay,

lots of guys on the celica club forum raving about Uniroyal RainSport 3

Black circles price is currently £78.60 per tyre Fully fitted -

price includes VAT, fitting, balancing and disposal of your old tyres

They are summer tyres that's great in the dry, and are excellent in the wet which comes in handy here in rainy UK

They're also a good compromise if using them all year round - we usually get more rain than anything in winter.

If the car you have is the one in your avatar....? then you're looking for the 205/50 R16 size, and unfortunately this is not sold in the high numbers as other sizes so they tend to be more expensive, especially the premium brands.

Have a look on the black circles web site and compare the choices....
