epb (actual failures seen relatively rare but they are expensive out of warranty - £1000+. Not everyone gets on with them)

possible cracking of front doors by the restraining strap.

The T27 typically does very well in annual reliability indexes.

I believe that there was some issue with rear pillar welds on some.

Sorry, it appears to be a boringly reliable car ...

So long as the car has been well cared for, then nothing. Just the usual crash damage and abuse to avoid.

The 1.8 is smooth but lacks the torque at low revs. Cannot say much about the CVT auto. Diesels tend to be high mileage and have their own problems.

I have to say that during 2010 some TRs came with the sat-nav/rear camera and tinted windows. I have been viewing auto trader, and seen a few.

Avoid the T2 as they are missing a lot of kit compared to the TR.

Iirc in the UK at that age TR & TR Nav were actually listed separately as different grades.

You need to drive the CVT to find out how it drives. It was known to send the revs high, when anything like brisk acceleration was needed. Say like joining the motorway. But once cruising speed reached, the car settled down to a more relaxed mode. The highest gear is longer than the manual.

The 2 litre petrol engine option is rare. We all known that it was dropped because it had little advantage in performance, for higher emissions and higher fuel consumption.
