Dash Piece Missing?

Just noticed the left side of the windscreen air vent doesn't have the dome-like button/piece that the right side does. Is it supposed to be like that? Bought the car with 14 miles on the clock so can't think of a reason it would be removed...

The dome you are talking about is the light sensor for auto lights. If you don't have them, then yes, it is normal. The one on the right is for the air conditioner.

Ah. I don't have auto lights so this is normal. Cheers for the info - just thought it looked weird!

Just checked mine - I got both domes - yay :)

The dome you are talking about is the light sensor for auto lights. If you don't have them, then yes, it is normal. The one on the right is for the air conditioner.

For what reason would the air con need a light sensor?
