Can Some One Help Please

I've been told that my Idle Control valve on my 2002 Celica is faulty and I phoned a garage for pricing and was told £400 plus fitting as they could only get a Toyota part, but I've been quoted £40.00 for a second hand one with a warranty.

Can that be right seems a huge difference? Very approx. what should it cost me? and is it urgent?, just seems to be idling between 1000-1400 revs but running fine.

I'm no engine head and any advise would be helpful

your garage could do it for you if you didn't want to attempt it.....or you could get the the warranted second hand part...worth a punt at £40.!
