Toyota Yaris T Sport Fault

Hello last night in the dark I connect my Battery terminals the wrong way round now none of my electrics work but the car will start and drive perfect I've been told I've either blown loads of fuses or fried my ecu any ideas would be much appreciated conner

If your car starts and drives OK you've probably been lucky (ECU's are reasonably well protected) and it's just a case of finding the blown fuse(s).There are two fuse boxes in the engine compartment and one under the dash on the passenger side it's just a case on laboriously removing and checking each one. Note that your fuseboxes will have unused locations so make sure you replace them in the correct place. The only other worry is the diodes in the alternator which really don't like reversed current.
