Stereo Upgrade

Hello All

I am looking to upgrade my stereo on my 2008 prius it doesnt have a multi changer cd player just single version and am considering putting in a double din mp3 and usb stereo maybe an apline or pioneer for around £100 i just need to know has anybody else on here done it and did they requirea harness adaptor and how much did you pay to have it installed or did you do it yourself?.Thanks in advance for any usefull tips etc. I have seen a youtube clip in USA that made it look quite strait forward?.

Look at this option of adding a USB adapters like I have to my Avensis. All Toyotas have a CD changer port which the adapter can be plugged into.

The adapter came within a coup[le of days, as the stock is in the UK. It may take a little longer due to the Xmas post.

It is the best integration for the money, as the steering controls works all the functions. The only minus point is that track title names are not displayed, but this is no hardship as my eyes are on the road, and I know my music.
