Newbie Auris 2011 Bluetooth Contacts To Phonebook

Hi Newbie

Recently brought a 2011 Auris with bluetooth \ SatNav.

I am having issues trying to transfer contacts from Samsung Galaxy S3 to the phonebook.

I get to the Data Transfer screen "Please transmit phonebook data from mobile phone"

as shown on page 158 of the user manual. However like the following link it just sits there and does nothing.

I have gone back to the dealer and getting various suggestions from having contacts in the phone rather than the SIM, to incompatabilty issues with my phone.

Appreciate if anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this.

The set up on Your Auris requires you to send the contacts from the phone as a bulk transfer, you will have to look up how this is done on a GS3 but on my GS5 you navigate to the "Please transmit phonebook data from mobile phone" on the car then:

Select Contacts > Menu (3 vertical spots on my phone ) >Select > tick All > then Share tab > then via bluetooth > then select the car from the paired devices list.
