Avensis T27 Front Door Crack Underneath Check Strap

Anyone else had this. What was the fix. Is there a TSB number on this.

Advice seems to be to take the car to a Toyota dealer for them to assess and approach Toyota GB.

My car has the paint cracks, more visible on the drivers doors than the passengers. It seems the metal flexes in that area if the door is opened hard on the strap stops.

Since the car is out of warranty, I will speak to someone about the condition and possible repairs if needed.

I have to say that the doors are heavy, but I do not swing them wide open.

I will look at the metal myself to see if it actually is cracked.
