How long should stock Aygo wipers typically last? I just had to replace mine after doing about 18000 miles on a 2014 mk1 model. Rubber was starting to come away etc. Bought a Bosch wiper to replace it as I remember having them on my Yaris and performing rather well.

Depends on usage. Usually I replace mine after 12-18 months.

Yeah, I think I generally got 12-18 months out of a set of normal wipers too.

The PIAA ones I've got on atm have been on since I bought this car (I think it's approaching 3 or so years now?) and they're still looking pretty good; None of the cracking/algae growth that I would normally have on wipers this age.

They are still as silent as ever but have started to smear a fair bit under light rain. I tend not to use them until the rain picks up tho' as you can still see quite clearly in light rain due to it beading up on the silicone.
