Hi chaps. I've had a Battery from Halfords for about 2yrs now,but the past 6 mths have not been using it much. I had to charge it twice before after not using it for a while and it was fine after. Now,I last used it about 5 wks ago and it has gone flat again. Is it worth recharging again or will it die on me when I stick it in the car and go somewhere :( ?

Have you checked the fluid levels are okay, some would also say with the price of batteries these days its easier just go out and buy a new one with a warranty!

PS. How long do these Halfords batteries normally last anyway?I've been using it in the Gti since I bought it.

To be honest the life of a Battery depends on the amount and type of use it gets.

We still get people bringing so called warranties back to where I work, normally in the summer when they dust off the second car thats sat for the last five months in the garage ;)
