Alloy Wheel Corroded

The rear driver's side alloy (machine face) on my 2013 Avensis started to show signs of corrosion just after the 2 year service was carried out by main dealer. Booked it in for its 3rd service and asked if the corrosion is covered by the manufacturer's guarantee - the alloys are covered up to 3 years so I'm getting a new wheel next week, no quibble.

All 4 alloys on next door neighbour's 7 month old BMW's 3 series all showing signs of corrosion - on haring my news he took the car to his main dealer and they offered to replace all 4 wheels, again with no quibble.
