Removing Roof Lining

Hi!

I just bought a 1998 corolla CD auto and i wanted to know if it was possible to remove the roof lining. I did it in my previous car but that was really easy as there were no panels on the window columns and there was not a sunroof.

Before i buy the material i want to recover it with i just wanted to know if it was possible.

The Haynes Corolla manual has a brief paragraph on removing it, with no detail other than removing its clips along with all fittings and surrounding panels and seals.

Basically saying its a sod of a job and you are more than likely going to end up damaging it in the process.

This saloon manual should give you an idea of whats involved, but I would suggest you also be very careful of disturbing and setting off any airbags.
