Help Were Stuck In Scotland! !

ello ladies and gentlemen, hope you all had a good Christmas! !!!

I have joined this forum on behalf of my Mrs who's ultra reliable rav4 that's never ever let us down did just that on Christmas eve 120 miles into a 380 mile journey when the death rattle started in the turbo as I drove merrily along the m6.

As soon as I heard it I knew what was going on and pulled into the services 1.5 miles away luckily.

I got transported to Scotland at the cost of £517 as I had the turkey and all the drink and was not going to miss christmas dinner!!!

So anyway,we're here, the rav is down the local garage till the reopen on Tuesday coming and I am struggling to source a turbo as everywhere ive tried is shut till after christmas.

If I can get a turbo up here then it can be fitted and we can get home!!!!!

So I'm wondering if anyone can point me on the direction of a company that can help! !

My little girl doesn't want to go home cos she loves it here but when I said who's going to feed your pony she began to panic!!!!!

The pony is sorted , just in case you wondered!!!!

Thanks in advance.

Liam

Hi Liam.

I think your best bet is to call Lindop Toyota, ask for John Devlin, also known as the Parts King or even Kingo. The phone no is 01244 821031 but when this dealership is open I cannot tell you but I am 100% confident he can supply you with the correct part first time and quickly, just have all your vehicle details written down when you call including your reg. number.

Good luck!

Mike.

Hi Mike , thank you very much! !!

Worst case scenario is I leave it here for a few weeks and get a hire car to get home but I'd rather it was fixed! !

I will ring them on Monday .

Thanks once again and have a nice day!!

Hi Liam.

Another option is to look at this link below. I do not know exactly where in Scotland you are but the link below will show Toyota dealerships in Scotland.
