Cruise Control

Hi everyone, Can anyone help I am considering fitting cruise control to my 2005 corolla 1.4vvti manual, Can I do this basically is my car compatible for this to be fitted.

If you search this forum you will find a couple of posts where folk have tried that, cannot remember if they were 100% sucessful or practical to do.

Have looked at older threads in the Corolla club regarding cruise control, and it seems that cruise was not an option on the Corolla. So you may have to consider whether a third party kit could be fitted.

Also bear in mind with the Auris petrol engines, cruise is only available on the 1.6 - the ecu of the 1.33 won't accept cruise, and I don't know whether the 1.4 petrol (same engine as the Corolla) would have been the same.

Thank you guys it looks as though I may have to dive a bit deeper to find out if I'm able or not then, I did notice on my dash where the clocks are there is a bit that say cruise but that may be just universal clocks,
