It's All Happening...

Issue 1:

The car has recently developed a whining sound, similar to a wheel bearing but with a grittier edge. I know the car is due a clutch so I am not sure if it could be related. I am pretty sure it is not engine related as it happens when coasting with engine off, I am thinking more running gear... I m not a mechanic so apologies for incorrect use of terminology.

Issue 2:

Water in driver side footwell - does anybody know where there could be a potential leak?

Please help! As I am starting to regret buying this Celica...

The main thread I've regarding water leaks is the following - http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/157600-2001-toyota-celica-vvti-water-leak-how-to-repair/?hl=%2Bwater+%2Bleaks

Just a thought - have you checked the rear seat and the floor area behind the driver's seat?

Thanks for that, I have had a look around and it only appears to be in the front drivers footwell. In addition to the above two issue a new one has developed... the saying it never rains it pours comes to mind.

Issue 3:

Washer water jet only works (low power) at high driving speeds (60mph)... any ideas?

Thanks.
