Hi all, I've just bought new Phillips 130% extreme vision to put on the corolla as I thought the original bulbs weren't very good but it seems to be a problem with the car and not the bulbs as the new bulbs aren't very good either and I've had these bulbs on an old car and know they should be really good, the switch where you can adjust the range doesn't seem to help much, the light doesn't go very far In front of the car? Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

The headlight aim is adjustable, usually by two screws/nuts behind the headlight - one adjusts horizontal, the other vertical. Bear in mind you need to do it right or it'll dazzle other road users and fail an MOT.

Have you got the bulbs seated properly in the housing, typically there is a small 'pip' on the bulbs flange that should be upper most to seat properly, if not the bulb is way out of alignment.

Often just looking at the bulb thought the front lens , it can be obvious if the bulb is not pointing straight forwards.

The level adjuster control should be set to Zero with a normal passenger load.

If you have no reference, then you need the headlight beams adjusted at a garage using a Beam Setter, a 5 min job, otherwise you end up as one of those plonkers driving around dazzling everyone.
