Happy New Year [ Sorry If This Is In The Wrong Place ] Help Needed

Hello to all And happy new year Im new here so very sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have a 1998 Toyota Celica SR now when I got the car I only had a key no fob has any one fitted one of theses to car ? www.hawkcaralarm.com HA-240 lite v3 locking and alarm kit I have found the power lock and unlock wires in drivers side kick panel but cant get the system to lock or unlock just clicking is this down to the factory alarm ?????????????????????????? if any of you have fitted one of these or any thing like it please could you help me out many thanks
