Heard the story about the man who parked his car in Glasgow and on his way back to gt it he saw a wee street urchin lying under the front unscrewing the fog lights? He went and got a policeman who approached the urchin, prodded him with the toe of his boot and asked him what the F he thought he was doing. The wee ned, completely unabashed, said “This is my Da’s car and he told me to take the fog lights off and put them in the boot. Loads on the continent, even saw one charging at a super charger in the services, cooling fans buzzing away under the bonnet at the front, I assume to keep the Battery cool and cope with the 50kw of charge it draws :o

are you sure it wasn't because the owner had switched on the A/C with the mobile App so it was cool when he/she returned (and using the free electric)?

Its possible, although I got rather up close to it (wandering inside) and couldn't hear any ventilation induction noise from under the scuttle by the windscreen, which I'd have expected also.
