Happy New Year to all:

My Multifunction display stopped working this morning. There is a light, obvious when turning on and off via the centre button... and annoyingly if I fiddle with the buttons, the lovely sat nav lady tries to direct me somewhere so it appears to be working...however, there is no display on either side. Just a faint orange back light.

The car is an 05 plate Avensis D4d T-spirit estate

Has anyone experienced this and is it just a fuse or a whole new unit... not really financially viable or economic!
