Hi guys, I want to ask help about how to install the hardwire into my car. I have a Yaris Excel Hybrid 2015(64reg in UK) and I wonder if there is a step by step guide on how to do it? I dont have an experience on anything about cars but if there is a diagram or picture guides then I think I can do it. Is there anyone here who have done it before? Thank you in advanced!

Got one of these in my Lexus, I've just hid the cable behind any bits of trim I can and behind the roof lining at the front. Stuck the camera to the windscreen with the suction mount and plugged the power supply into the 12V socket. Works fine.

OP is on about hard wire kit, not power outlet socket jobbie.

OP, unless your competent with auto electrics I'd get a specialist to do it. I managed it on our Yaris in about 30 min, piggy backed it onto a ignition switched feed in the fuse box. I believe it was the fuse for the rear wiper I used, with a piggy back fuse jumper like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Circuit-Car-Auto-Piggy-Back-Standard-ATO-ATC-Blade-Fuse-Tap-Holder-12V-24V-/321944963289?hash=item4af56a48d9:g:xqMAAOSwR0JUPMc5
