hi

can someone clear up which seals are which as geting confused, got a leak and can hear air rushing from side of door and have condensation issue and mold, trying to get to bottom of it, but theres seals are confusing me. 2003 t sport. i need to order a seal just want to make sure which one is which and not look like an idiot haha

If you are ordering a new seal from your Toyota dealer, then either show them your photos or the actual car, then its up to them to order the right part.

Have seen them described as the 'Door - Weather Strip' and 'Door Opening - Trim'

If the seals appear to be intact and look in fair condition , consider the door hinges / striker plate alignment as they will wear/ drop over time.

If that fails, something I have seen a main dealer do, even on almost new cars when nothing else has worked, is to carefully bend the upper window frame just a fraction, so it makes the upper window surround move inwards , making better contact against the seal.

You must have the window glass wound down before doing that or its could break.

Clearly something that has to be done with controlled strength and care ...
