Fadz's Iq

Hi guys! Been a (very) long time lurker here, but now my iQ is finally at a point where I feel like it's worth sharing. Basic information is that its a 2009/59 Decuma Grey iQ3 with factory satnav, spoiler and the little bumper exhaust skirt (can't remember the technical name).

However, nothing stays standard for long! Probably be easier to list most the things done to it (in no particular order)

  • Plasti-dipped the badges/wing mirror (wing mirrors due to colour mismatch, so why not), tinted windows
  • Lowered on H&R springs, sitting on 17" momo alloys
  • Custom Exhaust (can't remember which brand backbox's, done at a specialist exhaust place) with silencer removed (loud!)
  • Swapped cloth seats for leathers
  • Subwoofer, amplifier and tweeters
  • Team heko wind deflectors
  • HID's and LED fogs

Side profile (very dirty!)

Exhaust

One of the biggest and slightly more challenging mods (more due to first time doing anything of the sort) has to be...well words will not do justice so here it is

Has a sort of menacing look to it

With headlight on

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the LED "eyebrows" double up as indicators too

What do you guys think?

Also a quick question about the headlights, which HID bulbs are most people using? ATM I have fitted 9006 bulbs, but I've read that it should be 9012 bulbs, however on the headlight itself it has markings which read Hir2 (standard halogen bulb), but also states D4S underneath it. Anyone know anything about this?

Hi Fadz and welcome to the club. Looking good there, I do like that colour but don't see it very often.
