I have just purchased a September 2014 build code auris hybrid tourer it is very nice .

The problem that the sat nav Map ID says 2014 v2 and my local dealer says this is the latest version.

When driving it is obvious that the map is out of date . Does anyone know if there is a later version

Does that car have a Touch or Touch 2 system? Toyota Toolbox should tell you if an update is available for Touch & Go, presumably there is a similar (same?) service for Touch 2.
