HI guys anyone had this problem its so tight i have broke two oil filter tools (the spot welds came off). I need to get 15620 off. oil filter cup wrench size 65mm 14 flutes.

After our telephone conversation (with "I") yesterday, I researched on the oil filter location and change. The video link is great.

There is a tab that needs to be pulled back whilst unscrewing the housing. I could have missed that unless I did a quick observation and seen the photos beforehand.

All the 2ZR engines use the same system.

The real pain is removing/replacing the under shield. I have the tools to undo the cartridge.

As the car is full stamped with some by an independent garage, I wonder if I should carry on that way or start doing my own oil changes? The car is 7 years old so out of warranty. I have only done 2000 miles since owning the car since September, car serviced July!
