Heater Query

I am having to put my climate control heat settings up to the 30 mark (H1) to provide a reasonable heat in the car, first time today I have needed some decent heat, also takes a few miles for the temp light to go out, is this normal or is a visit to Mr T required. Yaris Excel 1300 2015.

Doesn't sound right, if at 21/25/30C and the internal temp is lower than any of those then it should be calling to full heat to raise the internal temp.

My last Auris had dual zone heating / air-con but not climate control. After the heat had been on low setting for months, on the approach of the cold weather I couldn’t get the temperature nearly high enough. I found that by selecting both sides to max heat and running it that way for a couple of days it would start to work correctly. Don’t know whether it was re-scheduling the temp sensors or what but it worked for me.
