Toyota Tyre Pressure Monitoring System Valves

After only 18mths. the rear valve has snapped leaving me with a big problem as my Verso comes with no spare wheel or jack to remove the wheel.

I had to call out the breakdown service to get my car to a Toyota service garage as the computer had to be reset.

Has anybody else had a problem with these valves breaking as I was told this is rare and as it broke it was not a warranty issue

I haven't seen any other posts regarding the TPMS valves breaking.

There is a spare wheel kit (spacesaver spare) available for the Verso.
