Water Ingress And A Dead Radio.

Hello all.

A couple of years ago we had water come in through the aerial which killed the internal dome light, bluetooth and radio. None of them have worked since.

I'm now keen to actually fix them.

The light fitting has corroded, so ordered a new one of eBay - hopefully it shouldn't be a problem to resurrect.

I have no idea what to do about the radio though. There is no power going to it at all, no light, nothing. The fuse though seems fine - incidentally, anyone know which fuse the internal dome light is on? I can't see it mentioned on any diagrams I've seen.

Given that it's not the 12V fuse which is the issue with the radio - is there another fuse in the radio itself which might have blown?

Any other suggestions? I don't think any water would have got to the radio directly, but the bluetooth microphone is right next to the light fitting - could that have an effect.

I'm going to an auto electrician next week but would rather try something obvious that a knowledgeable person might advise than waste money.

Many thanks in advance

2 Years that cars been without a radio. Thanks to you I just fixed it in 3 minutes.

Thank you!

(I'd previously ignored the fuse in the bonnet because it said speedometer on it - and that was working fine!)
