Drl And Led Strip Off On Driver Side

Hi all

I have the 2012 face-lift model Avensis. My wife got home from work tonight and as she drive onto drive, I noticed that the DRL and LED Strip on the driver's side were off.

The fuse for this seems to be a 140A one in the engine compartment but surely it can't be that as the other side works fine.

Anyone got any ideas what could have caused this?

Did the 2012 Avensis replace the 2006 model showing in your profile? If so, please update your profile.

Nevertheless, worth checking the fuse first before looking for other reasons - maybe each side separately fused. I guess you really mean 14 amp fuse rating.

Unfortunately, according to the manual, it seems that it is indeed a 140A fuse that controls the following:

RDI FAN, CDS FAN, H-LP CLN,
PWR SEAT LH, FUEL OPN, ABS
NO.1, ABS NO.2, FR DEICER,
PSB, HTR, STV HTR, PWR OUTLET,
HTR SUB NO.1, HTR SUB
NO.2, HTR SUB NO.3, ECU-IG
NO.2, HTR-IG, wiper, RR
wiper, WASHER, ECU-IG NO.1,
ECU-IG NO.3, SEAT HTR, AM1,
DOOR, STOP, P FR DOOR,
POWER, RR DOOR, RL DOOR,
OBD, ACC-B, RR FOG, FR FOG,
TI & TE, SHADE, PWR SEAT RH,
DEF, TAIL, DRL

what trim level do you have (the DRLs at least vary by trim)?

could be just a bulb or a plug.
