Snow Tips

Hi ya!

Well, we're planning a new trip to the mountaines for this winter. As this is going to be our first time in the snow, so I would need some advice from U that have more experice than me.

I know the silly things like never park the car at night with the handbrake on, or to leave the wiper arms released to aboid them to freeze, etc.

Can anyone help me with the other stuff like tire preasures, water/coolant ratio, which oil or whatever it is important to have in mind?

Cheers

Because it might get frozen and stuck inside the chamber. Everything gets frozen under the snow....

In the car Keep blankets, thermos flask, jumpers, snow shovel, torch, radio, batteries, (spare mobile phone Battery if possible).

Maybe also invest in some snow chains?

high gear low revs, and off you go

And what about leaving the car outside?

What happens to fluids, to mecanisms like doors o engine?

What about the Battery, should I do something?

And during the trip to the mountains, should I cover the radiator to prevent too much cold air going throw it?

Should I change the coolant making it thikker?

Cheers
