2008 avensis 2l D4D SCV location(s)??

Hi,

I'm going to be giving the SCV (suction control valve) a clean up as i'm having starting issues. I can't seem to find on google where the location of them are. Is there 1 or 2 as i've seen for different models of toyotas some have 2. I think i know where 1 of them is, if looking into the bay on the right side of the engine mid wayish.

Anyone able to help out with advice?

If I remember correctly, a long time ago, there were posts in RAV4 forum about this. I am not saying that I know the location or its the same as RAV4 but I am sure it ll give you a rough idea. I THINK.

Starting issues, are you sure yoru heater plugs and Battery are OK?

Yeah I replaced glow plugs last week as I thought that was the issue and the Battery is 12.85v. I'm going to take the egr valve out for a clean first and then if that doesn't help then the scv is coming out. Thanks for the link, looking at that there just seems to be 1 scv, is that the same engine that the avensis has? I've seen that some engines have a green and a red scv.
