T27 - reverse gear buzzer?

Hello

Can anybody tell me is 2013 T27 fitted with reverse gear switch buzzer? My question sounds silly maybe, but to be honest with you I've never put my attention on this details - until this day, when my mind tells my that it gone.

Maybe it only my imagination plays with my after few years with Skoda. I'll appreciate if somebody would confirm this before I'll make an appointment to Mr. Toyota.

To clarify, I don't mean reverse sensors beeper.

buzzer? don't think so. Both my 2007 & 2012 (both fitted with rear parking sensors) bleep once upon selecting reverse but I am not sure if a car without parking sensors also bleeps once.

That's what I mean - this single bleep. Too long with Superb, I think ;)

My 12 plate auto (without rear sensors) doesn't beep at all when selecting reverse.

I can switch the sensors off & see if it still bleeps once?

How did you find the Superb? What brought you to the Avensis?

I owned Superb Mk1 1.9 TDI-PD for 3 years. As everybody knows PD engines are almost immortal, so I could fuel my car even on ASDA with no bother.
Fuel consumption was slightly lower I think.
I didn't have any serious issues with this vehicle (average mileage 14k/year), so it wasn't sour for my pocket, but the interior was extremely boring - if people say Avensis interior is dull, it means they never owned any VW car lol
Currently I drive a 2012 FL Avensis Estate Business Edition 2.0 Diesel.

It's hard to compare both cars 1:1 as both belong to two different generations and I drive Toyota only from September.

when I bought my Avensis T25 I had a better offer from a Vauxhall dealer on a top of the range Vectis. It drove & handled better than the Avensis but was so gloomy that I couldn't stomach the thought of spending hours & hours in it

You asked what brought me to Avensis.

It was the time when I should had to replace dual flywheel, clutch, brake discs & pads and my friendly mechanic quoted this for at least 800 quid. So I thought to myself, there was no point to invest so much into a 10 year old car, especially that my local Toyota dealer was happy to do a trade-in and offered me a sensible money for my car in her current condition.
