Cdfs?

Just got the new Velvet Revolver CD and it's cool, but it'll not play in Media player so I can't grap the files as MP3 or WMA ..

Any way about it?

Seen a cdfs.vxd file for Win9X that woul;d do it, but I'm XP .. and I don't want to have to get the CD out everytime I wanna hear it ..

Ideas?

im a bit lost, is it a standard Audio CD/Text CD? and you want to rip the CD?

No .. It's CDFS .. the new format that shoudl stop piracy .. but then again I've got the album in WMA format .. it took about 30 mins to have the entice CD converted .. including searching on how to and the download of the SW.

download cdex (its a tiny shareware file) and u can rip cd audio into .wav or.mp3.

I use Easy CD-DA Extrator, nothing that that cant rip

yeah... had a few like that but not many.

TBH when it takes 30seconds to download a song it's no big deal if you get a duff one.

Yea, I use kazaa for the odd track. Can't be bothered to wait 30 mins for a whole album sometimes

I buy the albums of the bands I wanna support .. I do download stuff, but some of the stuff I'm after aint out there ..

I think its perfectly ok to download music that you wouldnt buy, i mean buy the bands that your really into but downloading the odd song that you would otherwise never buy is just like recording a song off the radio for the new digital age. Just my 2pennys :P
