Is it possible to retro fit satnav so it works through the touchscreen? 2014/15 model.

Is your head unit Touch or Touch 2?

Anyway, afaik, yes - it is an additional hardware box that plugs into the rear of the head unit plus an aerial for the GPS. It's not cheap though, iirc £7-800 (your dealer or PartsKing on here can quote) .

If you can put up with the inconvenience (removing from sight when leaving car) then a top of the range Garmin/Tomtom will cost you a lot less & tbh be kept a lot more up to date in terms of mapping.

Thanks for that. Sounds like silly money. I wouldn't be able to afford to go anywhere to try it. Garmin or Tomtom!
