Well, after a year and four dealer visits my clonk from the NSR has finally been resolved by the replacement of the shock absorber under warranty. Original thread here

My Aygo ('64 plate X-Clusive) wasn't on the shock-recall list, but it seems that there was still a faulty shock problem.

Unfortunately the 1,800rpm hesitancy/mis-fire is still present, but the starting problems seem to have gone away since its first service, so a mixed bag of positives and negatives.

thats a good outcome for you sort of,when you buy a new car it would be reasonable to expect trouble free

motoring for the next few years as a minimum ,it just goes to prove toyota are MONEY orientated and not

customer orientated, after your experience would you buy another toyota incase you have similar issues

and they choose to ignore you or cannot be bothered to try and help.

Glad it's sorted, so was it the modified shock that sorted it?
