Hi i have bought a 2011 spirit and the docking sat nav has been removed and connected to my lap top and updated etc. However, the Battery is not charging in the car, and now shows exclamation Battery messages, and shuts down.  There are no other charging cables, i have tried my mobile phone charger which was 5v over night and nothing happened.  It is now connect to my lap top. 

Has the Battery run down so much that it will no longer operate in the Yaris?  Has a fuse blown, but the radio and menu screen still shows.

Bit confused as to what to do.  Any help much appreciated.

it appears that the unit does not like being removed from the car, everything is fine.
