Installing aftermarket stereo - preparation

I have a dash mount kit for my Pioneer sat nav/stereo and I will be fitting that this weekend. I have found YouTube videos that show me how to get the old one out and I am comfortable that I can handle all that. What I have not found is a walkthrough on what to do with the dash to get the microphone and the gps receiver - how do I get them from the stereo to the foot of the A-pillar?

Or if anyone else has been through this and located similar items there or elsewhere, how did you do it?

Thanks

Edited to add that I'd also like to run some sort of Aux or USB from the stereo to the panel in the lower dash that has a cigarette lighter and three blanks. How easy do those blanks come out? Does anyone have a recommendation for the part I could buy? Is there a Toyota part (which would be nice) or am I getting Dremmel out on the existing blank?
