Hi all

does any one know what/which USB interface/adapter to use with the Matsu****a CQ-XS6770AJ model stereo which are fitted in the Avensis TR?

I have been looking at the yatour interface which connects to the back of the steeo and off that the USB can be used.. but the connector seems to be the wrong type on all the Yatour leads.

Panasonic is the commonly known name for this electronics manufacturer, and this name won't trigger the swear filter.

The code which should be quoted is b9010 which is shown on the front.

There appears to be conflicting guidance on whether the Yatour is compatible. An Amazon search suggests that it will work - however all eBay listings seem to exclude the b9010?

I had a similar problem with my b9012 a few years ago. In the end I bought a grom unit from eBay. Works great. The seller (carputer shop) is based in UK and was very helpful. I can't recall the exact connections but I think it was 6+6 as the 5+7 was largely phased out by around 2004.

You can socket second from left is the one to plug the USB adapter. I did a post in the audio section of the forum:

Everything I researched is covered in this post, and I did the "how to add USB" to the right of the page:

My original post soon after buying my Mk3:

Some of the better brands support title/track/artist display. All are controlled via steering controls, and my adapter has bluetooth to allow the playback, which the original headunit does not support.

The choice is how much you are willing to spend.
