Worst Night Ever

I had the worst night of my life ever last night. I was taking my girlfriend home last night on the M8 when i was only doing about 70mph and we hit surface water or something and the car span straight into the central reservation then span out into the middle of the motorway. The whole front end of the car is wrecked and the left suspension strut is shafted. Dunno if it will be a right off but i hope not. ARGH!!!!!!!

:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

ouch, sorry to hear that m8!

could have been worse - you're both still alive and not injured (i'm assuming!)... well maybe your pride has taken a bit of a bruising but don't worry too much

car's can be fixed/replaced - try and look on the bright side :)

No way! Hope you are OK, I assume it was due to aquaplaning, that can catch anyone out.

At least you walked away from a 70+ mph crash.

The car has done its job and saved your lives, metal can be replaced, you and your loved ones cannot.

Other cars would have folded in that same situation (trust me I know) so glad you walked away.

You live to drive another day :thumbsup:

Jaxx, what did u need to repair it though. I need a new bonnet, new front bumper, to big thick metal bars at the bottom (dunno what they are), new left suspension strut, two new front lights, and a new radiator. I think thats all but it aint been checked out yet. Get a quote later today.

Thats awful.... Glad to hear you are both ok though - T-V-O-R is right, metal can be replaced but you can't.

Its always a good sign when you can walk away.

All the best

Angel

i find cornering hard in my GS300.. especially when the door is open and someone is falling out.. or should i say being pushed out!

As for aquaplaning... get some good tyres that will slice through that water nicely!
