Bluetooth phonebook transfers

Hi,

I am having a problem with the transferring of my android smart phone contacts and numbers. For some reason about only half of the phones contacts make it across to the headset in my 2011 Avensis. I've tried a couple of times and still the same. I also tried a factory reset on my phone, reinstalling the contacts, deleting the numbers from the car's head unit and trying again but still the same problem.

Any ideas as to why tis is happening please.

Ensure all your contacts are on the phones memory and not the sim card as contacts on sim card will not transfer.

Hi,

thanks for the advice. For some reason this was not as easy, as you might have thought, with my phone - google seems to want to take control of everything and not allow me to have indepedance from them. But the basis of your advice was good and in a round the houses way I believe I may have been able to transfer all/most of my contacts. I just need to double check - I ran out of time.

Thanks very much for the advice re contacts not transferring, it now seems to be working fine and I have tried it a couple of times.
